There is more to the state of Texas than longhorn cattle and oil. What you do on your vacation in the Lone Star State actually depends on where in the state you travel. Big Bend National Park is in the lower portion of the state and offers visitors plenty of caves, canyons, and gorges to enjoy. The gulf coast side of the state is where NASA Johnson Space Center is located and if you’re there at the right time you might be able to see a shuttle coming on in while touring the facility. From bird watching to the exciting nightlife in the state’s many different cities, Texas is the place to see.
